Privacy Policy

• Account data — email, full name, country, university, faculty, academic degree, research sector and chosen plan, provided by you at sign-up.
• Reviewer data — for reviewer accounts: degree, publication count, Google Scholar link, review sectors, pricing model, and your alias and public-field choices.
• Content you upload — manuscripts, figures and PDFs, plus the library records and collections you create.
• Usage records — for each AI run: the service used, model, token counts and the amount billed. Prompts are sent to the model provider to produce your result.

To operate the services you request, to meter your token allowance and billing, to match authors with reviewers in Hire Expert, to keep the platform secure, and to answer support requests. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your manuscripts to train models.

Manuscripts you upload for a review order are private. They are accessible to you and to the reviewer assigned to that order, and to platform administrators for support and dispute handling. Anonymous reviewers appear to authors under an alias; their identity remains visible to administrators only.

We use infrastructure providers for database and authentication hosting, private file storage, transactional email delivery from notify.sciexpert.space, and AI model providers that process the prompts you submit. Each processes data only on our instructions.

Account and library data is kept while your account exists. Order records and manuscript versions are kept for the life of the order plus a dispute window. Usage logs are kept for billing and accounting purposes. Deleting your account removes your profile, library and uploaded files.

You can access, correct, export or delete your data from the Your Data page, or by writing to privacy@sciexpert.space. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
