By creating a SciExpert account you agree to these terms. They cover the workspace, token billing and the Hire Expert marketplace.

Your account

You must provide accurate information at sign-up and keep your credentials secure. One account per person. Reviewer accounts must hold at least PhD-student standing and may be verified by us before appearing in Hire Expert.

Acceptable use

  • Do not upload content you have no right to share.
  • Do not use the platform to fabricate data, generate false citations or misrepresent AI output as independent peer review.
  • Do not attempt to bypass token metering, rate limits or access controls.
  • Figure Integrity results are triage signals, not findings of misconduct. Do not publish them as accusations.

Tokens and billing

Plans include a monthly token allowance and a per-request token cap. Runs are blocked once the allowance is spent until the next monthly cycle or an upgrade. Unused tokens do not roll over. Prices may change with notice before your next cycle.

Hire Expert

Reviewers are independent experts, not employees. They set their own price and turnaround. SciExpert facilitates the order, the private manuscript exchange and the payment, but the review itself is the reviewer's work and opinion. An expert review is not a journal decision and does not guarantee acceptance anywhere.

Your content

You keep all rights to manuscripts, figures and text you upload. You grant us only the licence needed to store, process and display that content to deliver the services you request.

AI output

AI output can be wrong. You are responsible for verifying every claim, citation and extracted value before using it in a submission. The services are provided without warranty of fitness for a particular academic purpose.

Termination

You can close your account at any time from the Your Data page. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, and will explain why where we lawfully can.
