How to use Clinical Biostatistics

Steps

   Open Clinical Biostatistics

   From the workspace sidebar choose Clinical Biostatistics. On a phone, open the All menu and tap Clinical Biostatistics.

   Set up your inputs

   From raw clinical data to publication-ready outputs, with the assumption checks and sensitivity analyses reviewers ask for. Start with the smallest realistic input so you can check the output before scaling up.

3. 3

   Run it

   Run the tool and check the first output: descriptive and inferential analysis for every data type.

4. 4

   Review what came back

   Work through the results: parametric and non-parametric testing matched to the study design; regression modelling: linear, logistic, poisson, ordinal and multinomial; model diagnostics, assumption checking, outlier detection and sensitivity analysis.

5. 5

   Save or export

   Save the configuration as a preset if you will repeat it, and export the output when you need it outside SciExpert. Your inputs persist across refreshes and sign-ins.
