How to use Extract Data

Define your own columns and let AI fill them across the papers in your library, then export the table when it is time for analysis.

Before you start

Steps

1. 1

   Open Extract Data

   From the workspace sidebar choose Extract Data. On a phone, open the All menu and tap Extract Data.

   Set up your inputs

   Define your own columns and let AI fill them across the papers in your library, then export the table when it is time for analysis. Start with the smallest realistic input so you can check the output before scaling up.

   Run it

   Run the tool and check the first output: custom extraction columns you define per project.

   Review what came back

   Work through the results: runs across the papers already in your library; side-by-side comparison of findings across studies; csv export for analysis elsewhere.

   Save or export

   Save the configuration as a preset if you will repeat it, and export the output when you need it outside SciExpert. Your inputs persist across refreshes and sign-ins.

• • Start with a small input, verify the output, then scale up.
• • Save a preset once the configuration works so you can reuse it across papers.
